Today was the second scheduled rest day for ChaLEAN Extreme (the program I am currently doing). However, I prefer to only take one rest day per week, so today I got to pick a cardio workout of my choosing to add into the mix! I went with Combat 45, and I absolutely loved it. I forgot how awesome kickboxing makes you feel. If you have a gym membership I highly recommend looking into their classes to see if they have any kickboxing style workout groups! It is a challenge, but you feel great when you finish… it is also awesome to give you a non-surgical butt lift!

This is so very true, because it is a lot harder to motivate yourself when you are doing it all by yourself. If you don’t like going to the gym or doing group classes, I totally understand. When I started my journey I didn’t like ANYONE being able to see me as I worked out because I was embarrassed and I felt silly. I still prefer to workout alone even after having lost a significant amount of weight. Luckily there are plenty of solutions to that fear and discomfort, in the form of MANY health and fitness programs that Beachbody offers.
