Are the Karity Palettes as Great as they are Advertised to be?

Alright guys, time for an honest review. A while back I did swatches of my new Karity palettes (frost and matte) and was so excited about trying them out. There was a lot of hype about the brand, and I kept seeing ads about them all over Facebook. I finally bit the bullet and got some, really wanting to love them. I was holding off doing a post about it until I gave them a fair shot. The time has come

1) These shadows have a lot of fallout, even when you tap the excess off the brush. I almost always have to go back in with a little foundation under the eyes to cover up the shadow fallout.

2) If you’re like me and like vibrant colours, you probably wet your brush to get the maximum colour output. Well, I do that with my primer spray. It truly does give great colour output doing it that way, but it makes the shadows really difficult to blend. I think that might also contributed to the creasing that I tend to experience throughout the day.

3) They do not have good staying power. This is evident in my before and after picture. It looks really nice when you first apply, but I noticed halfway through the day at work that the shadows had started to fade and crease. I use an awesome setting spray and I never have this issue with my limelight shadows, so I know it’s not my finishing spray that is the problem lol. You can see how the rest of my makeup still looks normal (minus lipstick because I took that off and switched to lip balm when I got home) whereas the eyeshadow is worn off, creased, and looks terrible.

As much as I wanted to love these palettes because they have an awesome range of colours, I just can’t. The variety is there, but the quality is definitely lacking a bit. Some of the colours stay better than others, like the corals seemed to work better than these blues. Either way, I simply cannot recommend something that I myself have been having difficulty with.

For these reasons, I do not recommend these palettes.

5 Minute Makeup

32699928_1699928060060271_7128104784468377600_nThis photo shows me with the bare minimum of makeup on. Those who know me, know I love to do full glam and have cool eye shadow looks and vibrant lip colours. That doesn’t mean I can’t do more natural! This is me with just foundation, a nude lipstick, brow liner, mascara, and a light amount of brown shadow used as a liner.

Honestly my favourite thing about LimeLife is the confidence that it brings to my life, and the lives of those I am able to touch with this social selling business model.

The high pigmentation enables me to do lighter coverage with my foundation AND stop coating my face with concealer.
My skin has improved leaps and bounds, making me far more comfortable going LIVE for everyone to see without makeup.
I no longer feel the need to go full glam to feel beautiful, and feel totally comfortable with the basics like what you see here.

Best of all, the feedback that I get from other people who have purchased our products and fallen in love like I have fills me up with so much joy 🙌

We are all beautiful, and we ALL deserve to feel that way ❤️

You can catch me LIVE on Facebook showing my “5 Minute Makeup” routine. The video exceeds 5 minutes because I talk a lot, but it only takes 5 minutes when replicated offline.
